It’s November, and it not only ushers in festivities but also the season of giving. We celebrate the spirit of sharing, giving, thanking and being grateful for all we have. In that spirit, there’s a new day of giving called Giving Tuesday, that is gaining popularity globally since 2012. At the MAVF foundation, we are volunteering at a local food pantry, working directly to help those struggling to make ends meet. To make things a little more fun (and competitive) this year, MAVF is having a contest to raise funds for food pantries in the US via the website FreeRice.com.
